HOW TO COOK SWEET POTATO IN THE MICROWAVE OVEN—This really easy to make, with so little cleanup to do.
Wash sweet potatoes and prick very well all over with a fork. Wrap in very damp kitchen napkin or towel.
Place in microwave oven, set on high. Cook for 5 minutes, turn and cook another 5 minutes. If it is not soft enough yet cook an extra 2 minutes on each side. Done.
Irish potato can also be cooked the same way. Just cook for 3 minutes on each side.
